Original AC/DC Singer DAVE EVANS: 'Judgement Day' To Receive U.K. Release
January 14, 2010Original AC/DC singer Dave Evans has signed a deal with Rocksector Records for the U.K. release of his latest solo album, "Judgement Day". Due on April 12, the CD was made available in Australia in July 2008 through MGM. The follow-up to 2003's "Sinner" was recorded in Brisbane, Australia with producer Mark Tinson and features 10 tracks, including a cover of "House of the Rising Sun" (listen to the audio below). The first single was "We Don't Dance to Your Song".
Evans was a member of AC/DC from the band's inception in 1973 until 1974. Following his departure from AC/DC, Dave Evans formed the wild hedonistic rock band RABBIT, Melbourne '80s rock outfit DAVE EVANS AND THUNDER DOWN UNDER, and lastly DAVE EVANS AND HOT COCKEREL. Dave Evans has also toured as a solo act, and in 2004 released his current album, "Sinner", on Germany's Cultural Minority record label. In 2005, Dave Evans toured across Holland, Germany and Switzerland with the renowned southern rock band MOLLY HATCHET.
